National Cadet Corps (NCC)
RPS College, Harnaut, offers a vibrant National Cadet Corps (NCC) program, which aims to develop leadership qualities, discipline, and a sense of national responsibility among students. The NCC at the college is an invaluable extracurricular activity that helps students build character, confidence, and resilience while fostering teamwork and patriotism.
Through various training sessions, cadets participate in activities such as drill exercises, leadership camps, social service initiatives, and adventure activities like trekking and mountaineering. These activities are designed to cultivate a sense of discipline, responsibility, and self-reliance, while encouraging students to contribute to society in meaningful ways.
The NCC program also plays a significant role in promoting physical fitness, as cadets are involved in regular physical training, which helps them maintain a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, cadets get the opportunity to attend special training camps, and some may even be selected for prestigious events like the Republic Day Parade.
RPS College encourages students to join the NCC, as it not only provides a platform for personal growth but also instills a sense of national pride and community service. Through the NCC, students are prepared to become responsible citizens and future leaders of the country.
